As a North Indian Recipe, Kathi Kabab Roll is made using green chillies, mutton, coriander leaves, onions and mint leaves rolled into paranthas. You can prepare this great snack dish for any occasions such as picnic and birthdays. Give it a try to this easy to make healthy snack recipe.

Preparation Time – 10 minutes Cooking Time – 15 minutes Calories – 350

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 teaspoon chaat masala powder
  • 1 teaspoon Refined oil
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 sliced onion
  • 1 handful chopped coriander leaves
  • 2 tablespoon juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 chopped green chilli
  • 2 parathas
  • 2 teaspoon chopped Mint Leaves
  • 3/4 teaspoon butter
  • 250 gm washed & dried, cubed mutton

For Marination

  • 1/4 teaspoon powdered turmeric
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Refined oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic paste
  • 1 finely chopped green chilli
  • 1 teaspoon ginger paste

Method

  • Mix all the marinade ingredients in a bowl. Add the mutton pieces after cutting it into bite-sized chunks and mix well. Place the bowl in the refrigerator for 4 hours. Marinate the pieces of mutton.
  • Place a frying pan over medium flame and heat oil in it. Take out the mutton from the fridge and keep it aside for five to ten minutes after sprinkling salt while you are heating the oil in the frying pan.
  • Place the mutton into the frying pan to fry it in the heated oil. Keep frying until it gets brown. Transfer the mutton to a plate after removing from the heat.
  • Add only 1 teaspoon oil in the frying pan and the fried pieces of mutton. Now add a little water and butter. Cover the frying pan after lowering the flame and keep cooking for ten minutes.
  • When the moisture gets evaporated, remove the frying pan from the stove. Keep in the warm place after adding the juice of1/2 lemon.
  • Take the stove flame to medium and heat a tawa over it. Warm the parathas.
  • Take the mutton mixture in a large spoon and place it on a side of the parathas. Add mint leaves, onions and coriander leaves. Sprinkle little lime juice and some chaat masala.
  • Roll the parathas tightly. Cut them into two pieces on your wish. Serve at once with mint chutney.
