- Use sunscreen
As far as possible, stay indoors. If you have to come out of your home, use a sunscreen. Using the sunscreen is one of the most effective summer skin care tips. Throw away your last year unused sunscreen and buy a new bottle this season. Buy the one with UVA and UVB in SPF 30 and SPF 70. Use a teaspoon of it on your face and a shot glass on your body before going out in the sun. Reapply it after every two hours if you are out of the shed for the whole day.
- Stay hydrated
In summer, we sweat it out and this leads having water loss in our body. You need to keep your body hydrated. Drink at least eight glass of water a day. Carry a bottle of water with you and drink one ounce of it after every 30 minutes. Drinking water helps you feel fresh, prevents dehydration and helps wash out lots of toxins from your body.
- Exfoliate your body
Take a body scrub and have a shower. Rub your exfoliator in a circular way on your complete body from the shoulders down and rinse clean. Do this two to three times a week for year-round to have beautiful skin.
- Do a little bit make-up
Try to have minimal make-up in summer. If possible, avoid make-up and keep having natural look. Apply face powder if you intend to have foundation make-up. The face powder must be with SPF to avoid the patchy skin. Use a lip balm or a gloss with an SPF 15 to keep your lips fresher.
- Hydrate your body too
You know your body needs hydration from outside too. For this, look for summery body lotion. Use the lotion or gel, which is light and fast absorbing. It would be better for you to use a fruity lotion to hydrate your entire body.
