Generally we make New Year Resolutions and forget them soon. We show that we are stick to the resolutions at the beginning of a year, but start losing to be on the track. However, there should be certain goals that you should never skip; especially those that make your relationship better. Here are 5 New Year Resolutions that you should plan as a couple for the year 2019 and stay stick with them throughout the year.
The rule of thumb of a successful relationship is to spend time with each other as much as possible. So, if 2018 didn’t give you too many opportunities to be with your spouse, let 2019 be the year where both of you are together more. Pick up a hobby, do things where both of you can contribute equally etc. anything that makes you guys stick to each other as much as possible.
Steer clear of social media
If social media is taking up too much of your time then it is definitely coming in the way of your relationship. Restrict yourself from checking your profile updates while you are out or in bed with your spouse. Focusing on each other and not on what the world is up to should be your motto this New Year.
While small fights over silly things are cute, squabbling with each other all the time can lead to major dents in a relationship. Try not to fight too much, and avoid unnecessary unpleasant situations. Why not discuss things instead and arrive at a mutually beneficial, sensible conclusion? Think about it!
Praise each other
Praising your partner every now and then helps you bond. Not only will it boost his confidence, but the fact that you have noticed him adds that extra note of care. Couples who have been together for a really long time tend to forget complimenting each other. Believe us when we say that little praises make a big difference in a relationship.
Pack in a lot of sex
If 2018 was not very sexually satisfactory for you, ensure 2019 makes up for it big time. Spend as much time in each other’s arms as possible. From a quickie before breakfast too long passionate sessions at night, ensure you pack in a lot of sex in your daily lives.Disclaimer – The views and opinions mentioned here are the writers’ own thoughts or based on the talks held with some of the professionals of respective fields.
