Do you get embarrassed by the unwanted hair on your face? Well, I at Stay Young & Healthy can completely understand it. Facial hair being quite visible is responsible for your good or bad look. You find it hard to visit a parlour every few weeks. Here are home remedies for facial hair:

  1. Sugar and lemon juice

Mix 8-9 tablespoons of water with two tablespoons of lemon juice and sugar. Heat this mixture until it starts boiling. Let the mixture cool down. Spread the mixture on the affected areas of your face and let it dry for around 20-25 minutes. Use cold water to wash it off. Rub in a circular motion while washing the paste off. Being a natural exfoliating agent, the warm sugar sticks to hair and the lemon juice works as a bleach for the hair and lightens your skin tone. You can replace waxing wit this paste.

  1. Potato and lentil

Take five tablespoons of potato juice and mix it with a tablespoon of lemon juice and honey. At the same time, grind the soaked lentil to make a smooth paste. Mix the paste lentil with the mixture of potato, lemon and honey. Apply this mixture on the affected area of your face for around twenty minutes and let it dry. Use cool water to wash it off. The thin crust of this paste helps in facial hair removal.

  1. Cornstarch and egg white

Take one tablespoon of the whitish part of eggs and mix it with a tablespoon of cornstarch and sugar. Spread this paste on your face part where you have unwanted hair. Let the paste dry and peel it off. Being sticky in nature, egg white forms a thin film on the skin when it is mixed with cornstarch and sugar. Avoid using this paste if you have acne.

  1. Banana and oatmeal

Take a ripe banana and blend it with 2 tablespoons of oatmeal. Spread this paste on the affected areas of your face. Do massage your face with it for fifteen minutes and use cool water to wash it off. Rich in antioxidants, oatmeal works as a hydrating scrub and helps you remove the redness from your skin. Using this paste gives you a glowing skin apart from removing your facial hair.

  1. Lemon and honey

Take two tablespoons of lemon juice and sugar and one tablespoon of honey. Mix them well and heat this mixture for around 3 minutes. Mix water to make the mixture thinner. Let the paste cool down. Apply the paste in the hair growth direction after applying cornstarch on the affected areas. Use a cotton cloth or waxing strip to pull the hair out in the opposite hair growth direction.
